Founder of FOCUS BIKES (1992)

In 1992 Mike founded his own bike brand Focus, as Wheeler nor Specialized couldn't provide him the material that he needed to succeed.

After the first prototype and testing, all the hand built frames were named "Replica". Mike raced several of those frames over 2 years, so the exact history of this one isn't known.

These frames were built in the Black Forrest, GER and later on near Pforzheim, GER in a factory where they also designed and manufactured suspension for Porsche cars.
