1996 SPECIALIZED GROUND CONTROL A1 Comp

Story of the bike
Mostly original Specialized Ground Control A1 Comp from 1996.
I found this bike in the neighbourhood in Berkeley and bought it from a Suiss student who moved back to Switzerland. It was well used and scratched. I replaced the fork and some other parts. It actually rode pretty nicely afterwards.
I planned on racing it at the Keysville Classic as it was the only vintage bike I owned which was my size, although I never went down there.
After restoring it, I sold it on ebay and it went - to Switzerland.
Ned Overend raced this model occasionally.
