Bike tours and travels in NorCal

Based in Nevada City, CA we're in the perfect location to cover all of the best NorCal bike regions like the Bay Area, Tahoe National Forest or Nevada state.

We offer or can give advise on:

  • Guided bike tours (MTB, Vintage MTB, Cross/Gravel and Road bike).

  • Bike rentals and repairs at our local bike shops.

  • Shuttles. (max 4 pers.)

  • Accomodations & restauration.

  • Visit our own private Vintage MTB Museum with many original Ex-Pro bikes, the Mountainbike Hall of Fame in Fairfax, CA or the U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame in Davis, CA.

We love bikes and enjoy sharing our passion. We're not a business, so we basically offer this for free - if our work and familly duties allow it. If you'd like to enjoy a extended multi day stay with shuttles and guided travels, we would kindly ask you to cover our expenses.

You can contact us in english, luxembourgish, german or french.

In the heart of the foothills, this historic minning town has plenty of history, museums, theaters, excellent restaurants and fun trails to offer. While you're in the perfect spot to do trips to Auburn, Downieville or Truckee and Lake Tahoe, even Reno and the Bay Area aren't too far away. Another plus is the Scott's Flat lake and campground as well as the Yuba River for swimming or the short drive to the Truckee ski resorts in winter.

Lake Tahoe is part of the Sierra Mountains with many oportunities for biking and uplifts at the bikeparks like Northstar.

Downieville became famous through their Downieville Classic MTB festival which is held once a year on the first weekend of August. With more trails added it's a real mecca for descending oriented bikers, as multiple companies are offering shuttles to the top of Packers Saddle, although it's only open during the summer and fall till the snow covers the mountains for the other half of the year again.

Marin County is the birthplace of mountainbiking. Ride the famous Mt. Tam and enjoy the scenic views of the pacific ocean as well as the San Francisco skyline with the Golden Gate bridge! In Fairfax you can ride the Tamarancho loop with the Flow Trail, visit the Marin Bicycle Museum and have a couple beers at the Gestalthaus. (You can hang your bike inside on the wall rack).

The Santa Cruz Mountains, including the Demonstration Forest, Wilder Ranch or Pogonip have plenty of trails to enjoy! Don't miss the Santa Cruz Boardwalk and the beaches along the pacific coast.

Santa Cruz Bicycles and Ibis Cycles are local bike brands who are also offering demo bikes.
