1990 CANNONDALE SE2000

Story of the bike

The Cannondale SE2000 was mainly known as the 1991 cataloge built. This was probably one of the earliest ones ever made in August 1990.

The parts are similar to the 1990 SM2000 hardtail and differ from the 1991 model. Also the typical SE2000 decal on the top tube was missing on the early 1990 models.

Bike is all original with a pump build into the seat post, the original Cannondale saddle bag and the slide-in bottle.

Those early SE2000 were some of the first rear suspension bikes and they used a Flex stem and their "Pepperoni" fork instead of a suspension fork.

In 1992 they named it Delta V 2000 and added a suspension fork, which later would become the famous Headshok.
